A Little About Me
Hi, I'm Zoe.
I'm the owner of Woof and Whiskers and I provide home dog boarding, solo dog walking, cat sitting and wedding dog chaperone services in Nuneaton and the surrounding areas.
I started Woof and Whiskers because I wanted to offer a more personal approach to pet care, where every animal is treated as an individual and their comfort, happiness and wellbeing always come first.
A background built on trust
Before starting Woof and Whiskers, I spent 10 years working as a police officer. My previous career taught me the importance of being reliable, paying attention to details and remaining calm when things don't go to plan.
Those are qualities I bring into my work today, whether I'm looking after your dog in my home, taking them for a walk or visiting your cat while you're away.
I understand that trusting someone with your pet, your home or your keys is a big decision and it's a responsibility I take seriously.
Knowledge, experience and understanding
I believe good pet care involves more than simply loving animals. It means understanding their individual needs, recognising when something isn't quite right and knowing how to respond.
Alongside my practical experience, I hold a Level 3 Oqfual regulated qualification in Day Care and Home Boarding and am a four star licensed home boarder. I use this knowledge to provide thoughtful, individual care, always taking into account each animal's personality, routine and comfort.
It's the little things that matter
For me, good pet care is about paying attention to the little things.
Remembering how your dog likes their walks, noticing when they need a little extra reassurance or knowing when they'd rather have a quiet afternoon than another adventure.
It's about taking the time to understand your pet, respecting their routine and never treating them as just another booking, I deliberately keep my services small and personal so I can give every animal the attention they deserve.
And if something isn't quite right, I'll always be open and honest with you. I believe good communication is just as important as the care itself.
